Chris McKeel

Chris McKeel

Chris expresses herself through photography. Her work has appeared on billboards, in magazines and currently adorns the living rooms and hallways of families throughout the country. Her photographic journey began in middle school when her stepfather brought home some used darkroom equipment. She went on to become the photo editor of her high school yearbook and take photography classes in college. Chris continued her education through workshops, classes and national conferences. In 2013, she began her portrait business.

While providing services for local businesses, Chris discovered a need. Although local business owners see the incredible value in using social media to communicate with current and potential customers, they can’t seem to find the time to learn to maximize its potential. In her own struggle to navigate this confusing opportunity, she started working with Susanna, and the idea of Flourish Media began to take shape. They decided to combine Chris’ talents with Susanna’s expertise in graphic design and computer technology. In addition to her photographic experience, Chris is proficient at copywriting and knows the value of storytelling in marketing. She earned a master’s degree in Wellness Management and Health Promotion and created the Wellness Program at Western Carolina University. Health promotion is nothing more than marketing healthy behaviors and the most effective form of marketing is storytelling.
